Sample websites:
Design for artists, musicians, medical concerns, non-profits, e-books, any business. I am a fan of custom websites - each that represents the owner's work - not all websites should be made from 'content management' templates, but we're up for any content management site when appropriate.
It has been my experience that rarely do owners actually maintain their own site content even if a CMS template is used. The trade off is a site that represents the personality of the business.
Here some examples:
This is the global initiative I created to teach eye care and surgery, in real time via the internet, sponsored by an international telecom. The website will remain inactive until the upcoming launch. Come back and see us in the future.
We designed this for the creator and manufacturer of The Independence Shower System - designed for the comfort and safety of the aging, elderly and partially disabled. So proud to be part of this new venture:
In the world of non-profits, I created a website that depends on linking many sub-domains. Kindred Spirits is a non-profit in NYC that has so many important projects going, that I needed to find a way to represent them as one and separate entities at the same time.
Each box is linked to each artist or project's site. Additionally, there are links to their recordings and each page is embedded with videos, pictures and recordings.
- Kindred Spirits 501(c)3
- musician/composer Anne Phillips
- tenor saxophonist Bob Kindred
- the Childrens Jazz Choirs
- The Jazz Nativity
- Sing! Sing! Sing!
Anne Phillips' page has links to all of her projects, separate pages devoted to each, including some very cool vintage Pepsi commercials.
For The Jazz Nativity, an annual jazz event in NYC and a staple of jazz in NY, I created a PROMOTIONAL VIDEO after the 2011 Jazz Nativity at BBKing's.
Cody Smolik is a rolf practitioner serving Connecitut, New York City, and Greenville SC. She spent her summer working with clients at a burn center in Galveston TX and found a way to impart increased motility and comfort.
We were happily informed that the website brought her not only new clients, but new referral sources.
Just one more thing I can tell you. Yes, I've now been rolfed and no, it is not painful. Designing her site wasn't painful for either party either.
When your own computer repair guy asks you to take care of his website, well... now there's an honor!
This was constructed for a local irrigation management & landscape lighting company. Simple, straight forward.
This site is a work in progress, as Alec has been gigging in China for the past couple of years...
... all while designing and manufactuing the beautiful shower above (Sensasia Showers above) designed with hosts of accomodations for folks with limited motility.
The 'pix and video' page was a fun construction. We were experimenting with various gallery formats. If you really need a giggle, check out the video of driving in Guangzhou.
I was given the logo for this local construction company. After we stopped laughing, the construction of the website was a breeze.
